Christmas continued at the beginning of January. Dad and Mom Roberts flew out to Indianapolis. Their end-goal was to meet their new grandson, but they got to incorporate seeing Indy and our new home too! On the morning they flew in, I waited to long to eat, and felt really nauseous. I hadn't much the entire pregnancy thus far, and they didn't know our news yet. Fortunately, Jason drove and I ate and got over that wave of sickness. While Dad and Mom were here, we got to show them our home, our church, my school, Jason's work, and the downtown area of Indy. My students gave me a gift certificate to a very ritzy restaurant, so we all went there for supper. It was really good food, but a funny time trying to pick out what to eat, when most pieces of meat alone were $30 dollars. We had some great laughs, split two meals, made use of the endless supply of bread, and enjoyed our water! The next morning, Jason made delicious French toast before we headed to Beavercreek. There we met up with Rachel, Stephen, Andrew, and Julia. We all had a fun, special weekend together. We ate, talked, made gingerbread houses, held Andrew, enjoyed the warm 50-degree weather, and celebrated the Roberts Christmas. The last part of Christmas was to do a puzzle. When we finished, Dad and Mom saw a picture of Jason and I, with the words "Congratulations! Your 6th, our 1st!" That's how we got to tell them! It was really fun and unique.
