After an eventful day of painful contractions and a crazy trip to the hospital, Geneva gave birth to our first son Carter Matthew Hall at 2:50 a.m. Tuesday, February 4th. Both mom and baby (and dad) are doing great. Carter weighed in at 8 lbs 4 oz and was 22 inches long. He has taken well to breastfeeding and sleeps like a champ!

You look great!!! I have an "American nephew"!!! I'm planning on going to Indy late February, I hope I can meet the new family member.
