Micah's Visit

Micah flew out for Maryland, so we had a fun get-together for a few days. We hung out in Sam's club one afternoon, drank a 24-pack of IBC rootbeer, played in the sandbox, celebrated Stephen's years in the Airforce, and chatted a lot. It was really fun.

Aunt Julia has come to visit and we're enjoying showing off our little fella.

Lauren is the proudest big sister.

It was strange to strap our kids (emphasis on the plural) into the back seat. Thankfully Lauren was gentle with Carter and enjoyed staring at him most of the ride home.

We're ready to roll!

Here's a few more assorted pictures from during our hospital stay. We're now home and everyone is doing well. We've been blessed by so many friends and family who have loved us with visits/calls/meals.

This is from our first night home, Lauren really had to hold her little brother.

Lauren's Little Brother

Lauren meeting her little brother Carter was an exciting time for our family, here's a quick video of some of the sweet interaction (it's pretty one-sided :-) )

Our Little Boy!!!

After an eventful day of painful contractions and a crazy trip to the hospital, Geneva gave birth to our first son Carter Matthew Hall at 2:50 a.m. Tuesday, February 4th. Both mom and baby (and dad) are doing great. Carter weighed in at 8 lbs 4 oz and was 22 inches long. He has taken well to breastfeeding and sleeps like a champ!

MiMa's Visit and Mommy's Birthday

Pop (MiMas' husband Michael) treated us all to a delicious meal at Bravo's for Mommy's birthday.

A 70-degree walk downtown.

An Evening as a Sunflower

Look at this candy--Mommy and Daddy seem excited about it!

Growing in our neighbor's garden.

Thank you!

Walking along our neighborhood

What a beautiful evening--about 60+ degrees.

Life

We went to the apple orchard a few weeks ago. It was so cold, but I wanted to eat my apple so badly I went without mittens. We got a pumpkin too, and had some hot apple cider.

They think I'm a baby doll in the church nursery. I'm the youngest there.

Emily fed me Cheerios and Myles helped me drink my milk.

I'm learning to brush my teeth now. Daddy is a great teacher.

We went on a MOPS hayride and had a bonfire.

15 Months Old!

Mommy decided apples weren't the greatest props for this photo shoot, as all I wanted to do was eat them! I love ahhh-bulls (that's how I say it)

We went to the zoo for an Ophthamology 100 year celebration--Daddy's biggest fear is being eaten by a shark, so he got one step closer to overcoming that fear by petting one at the shark petting pool.--not quite sure what the next step would be :-)
I get to play with lots of friends throughout the week. We had my friends Kate and Elizabeth over one day and Mommy took us to the park. It was so fun!
We went to a cabin in Hawking Hills with some friends for a weekend. This was our hike around a lake.

Andrew's Place

We did a little photo shoot for the afternoon--Mommy and I stayed with Cousin Andrew's family while Daddy went to a friend's wedding in VA for the weekend.

Yeah, what a good driver Andrew!

We have fun going for car rides.

I am so excited. I learned to climb the stairs to the slide and then slide down--all by myself!!!!
